Dr. Patrick Lee is Chief Technology Officer of Auralytix and a Professor in the School of Energy and Environment at City University of Hong Kong, where he also serves as Associate Dean and Director of the Low-Carbon and Climate Impact Research Centre.
His work focuses on biologically driven environmental challenges at the intersection of biochemical engineering, environmental engineering, environmental microbiology, and artificial intelligence.
His research has been cited thousands of times in peer-reviewed journals, and he is a recipient of international recognition including a Special Recognition Award from the World Cultural Council and a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) Postdoctoral Fellowship.
Dr. Lee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University and a Master’s and PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Roderick Lee is Managing Director of Auralytix and a technology executive with more than two decades of experience building and scaling industrial technology businesses.
He was a founding member of Pipetel Technologies, where he led the growth of a robotic pipeline inspection company from inception through global deployment and acquisition by a private equity firm.
He held senior leadership roles and was instrumental in developing and commercializing patented robotic inspection technologies, holding two related patents. These technologies and services are now used by natural gas utilities and pipeline operators worldwide. Roderick holds engineering degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and Queen’s University, and an MBA from Duke University.
Frederick Lee is Director of Engineering at Auralytix and a founding member of the executive team. He brings deep expertise in electrical engineering, semiconductor systems, and applied artificial intelligence.
His experience spans research, product architecture, and large-scale commercial systems.
He holds Bachelor’s and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University and completed postdoctoral research at Stanford University. Frederick has held progressively senior technical roles at Tzero Technologies, Link-A-Media Devices, SK Hynix, and Dell Technologies, and is the holder of multiple patents. At Auralytix, he leads engineering execution and system architecture, applying artificial intelligence to large and complex datasets.
